Having lost a good deal of weight since the world went to hell, what remains is the result of her recent child-bearing. She wears darker colors of faded scavenged clothes, old worn things you'd find in the basement, or perhaps in a salvation army. She prefers things that fit tightly to her so nothing can grab her from behind or anywhere else, and keeps her hair in a tight French bun. She rarely looks relaxed, always looking around her, always wary, and a little bitter.
Personality: Min is cautious to the point of paranoia. She carries everything she needs on her back and is always ready to move. Having spent most of her life in relative comfort, if not always in the best of circumstances, the stark contrast between her now and her previously would amaze others, had anyone she'd known lived to see. She thinks only of how to get through the day, and dreams of what might be when this awful time is all over. She is cunning, resourceful, and practical, but never cruel. She will help another in need unless they are infected, already mostly dead, or out to hurt her in some way.
Likes: Warm weather, dark chocolate, and a sturdy shelter with running water.
Dislikes: Children, sicknesses, blood, having to sleep in the open.
Strengths: Scavenging, making snap decisions, and medicine are things she's good at, if not qualified in any real way to do.
Weaknesses: She can't stand looking at children, and refuses to interact with them. She's also emotionally fragile, and most of her strength is built upon being constantly moving and doing something to keep her mind off of what she doesn't want to think about.
History: Min was born to two drug-addict parents. Her father was a low-life who ran off to any woman that would have him before he died at age 24 of an STD. Her mother was the lesser of the two evils, but spent most of her time getting high, stealing, or moaning when she got the shakes. Min learned at an early age how to deal with that, how to bandage and disinfect wounds, how to stitch and dress deeper ones, and what of her mother's stash were painkillers and what were actually dangerous to take without a specific disease. She learned how to fend for herself during her mother's worst years, getting what she needed to get by without anyone noticing there was anything wrong at home. She learned to take care of herself, and vowed never to follow in her parents' footsteps. Especially when her mother eventually ODed.
When she turned sixteen, she met a boy and fell in love. She was pregnant by the time she was seventeen, and dropped out of school to take care of her child when the father split and left her alone. She didn't mind, and felt a sort of gentle affection for the life she carried. But the child was stillborn, and her dreams of motherhood seemingly weren't to be. When she turned twenty, just before the world went to shit, she became pregnant again. She was determined to carry this one through hell or high water. Unfortunately, the stress of the infected and the dying caused a miscarriage seven months in, and with nowhere to take her little girl, she had to watch as the little one suffered and died without proper care. She decided never to allow herself to become pregnant or to have children around her again. The memories were too painful.
